LiveLiberal is not anti-conservative: This a small planet where all peoples live in increasing proximity, liberal and conservative alike and with many shades between the extremes. We need each other. We balance each other. We, however, often have different and opposite perspectives on the human condition. It is, in fact, often paradoxical that each perspective can be mislabeled or misdefined by the other. For example, a good friendly neighbor calls me a "tree-hugger." He thinks that I, like all liberals, want to save the forests and the seas and certain animals from extinction - all at the expense of material progress and human lifestyle. He, of course, is correct, but in the process the liberals are being properly accused of conservativism while the conservatives can properly be accused of being liberal in search of self-interests.
